I am a PhD student at the Phonetics laboratory , University of Oxford. The area of my research is speech acoustics and articulation relations, where I use a database of dynamic MRI of human articulations to automatically extract acoustic and articulatory features and study their correlations. I am working under the supervision of professor John Coleman. I was awarded the Clarendon fund from 2009-2012 to pursue my studies at Oxford, and I am a member of The Queen's College of university of Oxford.

Prior to this, in 2008-2009, I did my MPhil in Computer Text, Speech and Internet Technology (CSTIT) at the Computer Laboratory, Cambridge university. My thesis title was "HMM Model Interpolation for Speech Synthesis", supervised by Matt Gibson and Bill Byrne.

Research Interests:

Human speech production, Acoustics and articulation mapping, Biomedical image processing and automatic feature extraction, Speech recognition and synthesis
